Hi folks, In case you haven't had a chance to check out TMDR's blog recently, he's been busy baking tapes, mixing up old goodies and laying down new tracks. One track he's described on Twitter as "one of the most beautiful songs (he's) ever written!" Feedback from a lucky few that have been privy to hearing the track have given him glowing feedback that's repeated in his most recent blog entry. Sounds like it must be awfully good. Can't lie and say I'm not envious of those who got to hear it - lucky devils - - but when it's all done and on a CD in my stereo, it'll be soon enough. And it'll be great to hear it. I *think* someone's already noted here (and apologies if my Swiss cheese brain is just repeating stuff) that you can follow TMDR on Twitter @tdolby2001. Melissa, Thank you for the heads up on this. It's kind of strange, but I find I am able to wait patiently for his new album. I spent more than a decade wishing desperately for a new album. And the possibility of attending a TMDR concert was completely out of the question. It wasn't going to happen. Fast forward to 2006 when I got to attend not one, but two, TMDR concerts, not to mention purchasing his live concert CD and DVD. I am looking forward to being pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the new tracks are but the ability to wait is here, where it wasn't two decades ago.
