Just thought I'd write real quick and let you all know that I'm leaving Alloy (again). I need to close out my internet account which means this email address is going away. And, I'm not going to be subscribing with another email address as, to be honest, I just don't have time to read almost any of my email. And, no, there's no one here that chased me away so don't worry about that. If anyone wants to contact me, you should be able to get me at marvin_rubbish@yahoo.com (yes, that's a Hitchhikers reference. no, nobody has ever caught that before). You might see me pop up on Thomas' site once in a blue moon and I'm sure I'll be hooking up with the local Colorado Alloy Contingent from time to time as I have in the past. But, for now, I must say (I'm sure it's probably been used too many times already, but... its necessary)... I think a lot of folks are on e-mail/technology overload - things have changed so quickly and dramatically since Alloy started back in the day. Communication has exploded, and it's tough to decide just how much you can get through before you want to run screaming! I'm ashamed to say I have 353 unopened e-mails in my inbox right now. (Of course, I think most of those are forwarded forwards from my oldest sister, featuring pictures of puppies and rainbows and bizarre political rants. And viruses.) Be well! I'll be looking for you to pop up now and then on the Dolby forum! I don't believe that God wills the building of oil pipelines, or that women should have to pay for police evidence rape kits, or that books should be banned, or that you can know all about Russia by seeing it from your house. Don't put this woman one heartbeat away from the presidency! ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V12 #259 ****************************
