I'm finding it very interesting to read the comments from the folks on TMDR's blog, re: the reissues and what extras should be on them. Some folks have *very* definite ideas about what they'd like to hear on these guys (or they've had long-standing fantasies about their ideal version of TGAOW.) Some are really attached to the 12" remixes and want to see them included. Myself, I'm not much of a 12" remix girl these days. I used to collect everything back in the day, but now I find myself just wanting to hear the songs with the original sound and length (except for rockin' good live stuff, to be clear.) And I want the track to end before we hit the six- or seven-minute mark. :) As if I hadn't already realized it, I think my clubbing/endless mix days are way over. FYI, if you haven't seen TMDR's latest comment in that thread, apparently EMI wants to put all the tracks for TGAOW on one cd now and make the second part of that offering "Live Wireless" on dvd, which would be pretty darn cool.
