["Rochelle" Subject: RE: Alloy: As seen in Rochelle's eBay TD-niche-store... Oh, that's just creepy. I wouldn't want someone selling my supposed DNA on eBay. Plus, the seller's terms are very stringent. Good luck getting $25 for that bottle of water! Kara - On a side note, I think you must be the only one visiting my Thomas Dolby eBay store. If you have any suggestions on how I can make it better please let me know. Rochelle - -----Original Message----- From: owner-alloy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-alloy@smoe.org] On Behalf Of J. Does this seem a little bizarre to anyone else?! ;^) But then, this whole sort of "his-DNA-is-superior-because-he's-famous" thing has always seemed silly to me. I might as well sign a Diet Pepsi bottle and sell *that* on eBay to make people think that I must be famous. :P Hmm, maybe I *should* do that...maybe we *all* should! The whole 'celebrity' thing is nuts. I seem to be immune. Well - I'm still waiting foe a Madonna pap smear to come across eBay. Heh heh heh... would it rhyme with "Hacker"? ;) I could not help but think of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" -- and the grotesque ABBA "souvenir" one of the guys carries around. (I believe that particular DNA sample would be illegal to sell on eBay...) Actually, eBay has really tough rules on the auction of edible things. I wonder if bottles of water count? Nice to see you out here, Keith. :) Melissa - -- "It is amazing how complete is the delusion that beauty is goodness." -- Leo Tolstoy ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Mar 2008 08:45:40 -0600 From: Keith Stansell Subject: RE: Alloy: As seen in Rochelle's eBay TD-niche-store... He he - bingo on that movie. I have the laserdisk framed on my wall outside my home theater as a movie poster. Glad to be back, although I've always have been lurking here. A change of jobs in the fall and a terminally ill neighbor / friend sort of kept me busy and quiet. I'm no longer working for the Canadians, so I won't get to visit our Alloy friend in Hamilton again. That reminds me, Crackers - I still owe you some pictures from Niagara falls from a year ago. My messages still seem to be taking a day to show up which is a bit frustrating. Perhaps I'll try unsubsribing / resubscribing to see if that clears it up. For the record, I'm now working for Examiner.com which is a lot of fun and my neighbor is still around despite being told many times he wouldn't be. - -Keith - -----Original Message----- From: "Merujo" To: alloy@smoe.org Sent: 3/20/08 7:50 AM Subject: Re: Alloy: As seen in Rochelle's eBay TD-niche-store...
