TMDR has such an incredible overview of the music business, and his insights into Paddy McAloon's creativity are amazing. I don't think it's any exaggeration to say that both Thomas and Paddy are brilliant, and I don't use a word like that lightly. I'd kind of been wondering where "He'll Have to Go" had got off to--I guess TMDR could only remaster the tracks that the record company gave him. Kind of gave the remastered "Two Wheels Good/Steve McQueen" an incomplete feeling, I thought--because "He'll Have to Go" sounds like firelight and massage oil to me. I definitely noticed its absence. It's got that sort of plaintive, "I'm desperate for you" vibe going. Very poignant, I thought. 'Course, it sounds great on the original album, so one can always just listen to it there. :^D Peace and a love of intellect, Kara ````````````````````````````````````````````` > From: "Paulo" > Date: 2007/08/01 Wed AM 07:07:31 CDT > To: > Subject: Alloy: THOMAS DOLBY & PREFAB SPROUT > > > Have you already checkec this? > > http://puremusic.com/78td1.html ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V12 #118 ****************************
