Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the north. Enjoy yer day, eh? Isn't Alloy required to have some Canadian content? Hope your national day is cooler than the 4th is expected to be here in Hell/center of the sun. My brother will be visiting from Germany with three Germans in tow. I'm hoping they will not melt into a puddle as we bbq in a state park in 90F heat... Cheers, Melissa - -- "We all have ability. Yes, happy Canida Day for our friends to the North. Being employed by a Canadian company, I'm tuned into those Canadian holidays. Speking of melting into a puddle, I'm typing this from a Whataburger off I20 in Canton TX, on my way to visit my folks in Louisiana. Since I've gotten used to the dry thin air of Colorado, I'm melting in this heat and humidity. I seem to be attracting stares from the locals. I guess a guy with a shaved head and full beard, wearing a slalmon florial print Hawaiian shirt typing on a cell phone is a bit out of their norm. Absolutely everyone here is wearing T-shirts except for the staff. I'm waiting for Hank Hill to walk in. - -Keith (sent from Treo 700w mobile phone) - -----Original Message----- From: "Merujo" To: alloy@smoe.org Sent: 7/1/07 12:45 PM Subject: Alloy: And speaking of Canada... Our expected high on Wednesday is 117F--and Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City, AZ, both about 200 miles from here, will likely clear 120F. Our overnight LOW has been hovering at about 90F. 90F--hah! I think I'll go jump in the pool! Thanks Merujo! jm On Jul 1, 2007, at 11:45 AM, Merujo wrote: > > Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the north. Happy Canada Day, you Canadians, you. Hey John, did you have to suffer lack of electricity this week? I saw that Phoenix had a big outage. And congrats on Sir Ian! I've been so behind in my email lately. How's the little mister doing?? How is your wife? Hello to everyone, and I've missed talking to you all. From the lovely Mohave desert, where it was 102F today. e ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V12 #100 ****************************
