Joan Rivers: style before substance.
Thomas Dolby: Substance before style. :^)

Gee, I wonder if I saw Thomas' appearance on Joan's show way back when? I think
I must have, 'cause I absolutely thought he was the cat's pajamas!!! ;^) Huh,
what a strange expression that is...anybody want a very confused cat??!? ;^P

I didn't used to watch much TV in the 80's, so I never even heard of "Bronx
Zoo", let alone saw it! ;^) Music was always my thang. But I did used to watch
"Max Headroom", though. :^)

Ah, memories. Is it just me, or were the 80's a heckuva lot more fun than the
90's and the 2000's? Life stopped making sense to me after about 1988...where
did all the fun go?!? But I was still in high school in 1988, so maybe those
of you who were working adults in the '80's haven't noticed that much of a
difference between the 80's and the 2000's. Maybe the 80's were only fun for
teenagers...?

This is me, contributing to keeping Alloy on life support. Bip...bip...bip... ;)

Seconded, with relish {and mustard}! ;^)

Love, Kara the foodie!

Joan Rivers: terrifying cryptkeeper. Her complications are going to
end up having complications, if you get my Brazil reference.

Thomas? Substance always first, but I always felt that a careful style
was an integral part of the performance - a blend of music, theater
and good storytelling that required the right look - down to this
last tour's trenchcoat, goggles and headgear.

Merujo made me glad that I'm not an M.D. when she replied, ;^)

Drat, did I say life support? Nothing so drastic, of course. It's just having
a little nap. :^)

Love and hackneyed attempts at stream-of-consciousness writing [my own] :P
Kooky Kara! :^)

It's All About the Music. :^)
