Okay, I'm going to apologize in advance for this. I have no design skills whatsoever. I have ideas, but not the ability to implement them. (That's why it's good to have close friends who ARE designers!) My Verizon e-mail account (which I never use) comes with some free space for a webpage and the most gawd awful templates ever. That said, I've wanted to at least establish an Alloy website to get us started. When you go there, please do not cringe at the fact that it looks like the homepage for a math professor at a community college. :) It's a start - a place for us to have links to our webpages (plus photos of members.) And, I'll be able to post the entries in the t-shirt contest there. (So, Rochelle, I won't have to ask you to put stuff up on your page! Thanks, regardless!!) I think the craptacularness of this page template will give all the t-shirt entries a really even playing field. If it looks good on a sickly yellow background, by god, it will look good anywhere!! http://mysite.verizon.net/merujo_sai/alloy Welcome. Cheers, Melissa - -- "We all have ability. Oh, it really does look like a math professor's site! But don't worry, I'm not cringing. I officially offer you assistance with what you might want to do. I'm not trained or anything, but I do know a few things (like how to change the code if you want your links to open in a new window, which keeps people on your site while letting them go somewhere else at the same time). Just ask, and if I can help with your ideas I will. Thanks, Rochelle! Let's see how awful my experimentation is! I had to take down the photo I had up of TMDR because it really, really did add to the whole "Professor Robertson will be available M-W to help you with advanced calculus" feel. I popped an old, old photo up just as a placeholder for now. :) Man, I really suck with technology! Melissa On 4/30/07, Rochelle wrote: > > > Oh, it really does look like a math professor's site! Hey Melissa.. I like the web site!! The color is cool.. and the photo of TMDR reflects the color gracefully. His photo is actually very nice too.. it helps keep a bit more mystery since he's not staring into the lens. Having just returned from two months in SE Asia I'm finally catching up on some E-mail. I have been checking at internet cafes occasionally but just responding to the urgent matters. Now I get to sit back and take the time to read and respond better. Sorry I haven't sent any ideas for the T-shirt. I will try to participate better on the next project! Once again.. great work on the new Alloy site! I am also getting ready to do a simple web home page. Is it complex to link to the Alloy site? Best..
