I'm trying to determine what form of friendly voodoo I would have to perform to hear TMDR and the horns play this year. I may be out of luck in that respect, but I'm willing to live vicariously through y'all out there. How did the tour bus with Holly G's fabulous artwork look up close and personal? The woman is talented and a real sweetheart. (I'd also be willing to engage in some dark magic to look like her!!) :) Off to read my bank statement - someone in NYC stole my Visa check card #, so I'm having *quite* the Monday... Am busy preparing one while nursing a hangover (I knew I shouldn't have had that last margarita!). In a nutshell though, it was an excellent show with Mr. Dolby looking quite relaxed and happy. Apparently many of his cronies were in attendance, including the fellow who created Pro Logic. After all, he used to work just minutes away from the venue. He commented that the audience was full of musicians and geeks from both eras of his career. I am sooo sorry to hear of the Visa check card troubles! I've been down that road myself with the bank catching it quickly but I had to go change every website order form I used it on. Grrrr. Melissa, though I think Holly is quite the looker too, I find your beauty quite fetching as well! Do not sell yourself short, Queen of the Quad Cities!
