I've never heard this sucker, and, let me tell you, the short sample from "Airwaves" knocked my socks off. The only tragedy? When that sample ends, it's painful - you want to hear the rest. It's sort of a Thomas Hobbes' version of track listening: nasty, brutish, and short. ;) > > Available in the UK starting February 5th, February 20th as an import for the U.S. folks according to Amazon.com. > > Here's the Juno Records link to the CD info and track samples: http://www.juno.co.uk/products/254554-01.htm > > Cheers, > > Melissa > http://merujo.blogspot.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for passing that on, Merujo! Leaves a bit to the imagination, but that's okay--the bassline is lovely and warm and deep, and it comes through just fine. :^) I can't remember right now who played bass on that single, but it's perfect. Thomas' piano-playing and singing are lovely--he sounds so young. And my gracious, his talent just shines through! :^D But, yeah, that abrupt ending is kinda painful... Oh, well. Do you know, I'm typing with gloves on right now--it's -31 deg. C outside right now, and that's BEFORE windchill!!! With windchill, it feels like -41!!!!! I'm sorry, I don't know how to do the Fahrenheit conversion, but if you were to unclothe yourselves and go sit on a block of ice [not recommended, of course!], you'd get some idea of what us Manitobans are going through right now. It's utterly ridiculous, and makes me think that Hell must surely be *cold*. ;^) Yep, all of our electric heaters are working just fine, thank goodness--I actually fixed the living-room one the other day; it had a bunch of bent fins, and was only emitting about one-third of the heat that it should've been. Yup, I'm a tinkerer. Our building-manager says that next time someone's having trouble with their heater, she'll ask *me* to take a look at it. ;^) Love and warm thoughts, Kara in Freezerpeg!! ;^) It's All About the Music. :^) ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V12 #22 ***************************
