He was only 57, but if you visit his website, you'll be amazed by the body of work he leaves behind in a life cut short. The challenges faced by people who need bone marrow transplants and stem cell treatments are so great. Medical science continues to move forward, but not at a pace that meets the needs of lives so fragile now. Best, Melissa - --------------------------------- The fish are biting. When I was playing jazz in high school, my buddies and I all used to listen to the Brecker Brothers records and we simply could not believe our ears. Michael was a MONSTER! Serious loss. jm On Jan 14, 2007, at 7:00 PM, Melissa Jordan wrote: > > I read today that Michael Brecker, an incredibly talented musician > who performed with TMDR on AAMB and with Dolby's Cube on the 1985 > recording of "May the Cube Be With You", passed away from leukemia > in New York City yesterday.
