That's got to be rough being exposed to worldly germs... You might also consider keeping Zycam on hand. That stuff is miraculous at GREATLY minimizing the cold. The trick with Zycam, though, is to start using it as soon as you feel a cold coming on, and then continue to use it for 48 hours after you feel better. If you stop using it when you feel ok it will come back and kick you around since you really weren't over the cold. Enjoy the show! It's fabulous (of course). I'm finally feeling better today, but man, that bug kicked my butt for a few days. Thanks for this tip - - I will gladly give that a shot next time. We constantly have people traveling all over the planet in my office. People come back with some funky thing brewing, and the next thing you know, a bunch of us have some nifty foreign critter smacking us around for a few days! Fortunately, I got a clean bill o' health from my doc today, so I'm ready to rock and roll tomorrow night in Baltimore (even if I'm still a bit wobbly on my feet!) Cheers, Melissa http://merujo.blogspot.com Rochelle wrote: So, you are merujo from the forum! I'm neeznoodle there (and sometimes Rochelle, if I enter the wrong password information). If I recall, you are suffering from a nasty stomach flu? If so, it's probably too late now, but for future reference get some activated charcoal tablets. They can be hard to find, but I get mine in Target's pharmacy area. Tired of spam? Yahoo! Ya wanna (re)read the TMDR's original post, peoples? It can be found at [third post down]. I wanted to read the exchange between Rochelle and TMDR myself, so I thought I'd post a link here so anyone else who was interested could read it too...or maybe everybody but me already knew exactly where it was, hee hee. Anyway, all I can say is, WOWWWWWW. :^O :^D My gracious, Rochelle, what a letter you wrote, and what a reply Thomas gave, and posted to Alloy! I think you expressed a LOT of people's sentiments when you got up the guts to express them to TMDR himself. I have to commend you on your bravery! :^D Even if I'd had any sort of address for him, I don't think I would've been brave enough to cut right to the chase and express myself to him the way you did. Well-said, and well-answered. So you're neeznoodle! Nice to see you here! And yep, I am THAT mizmusic, the one with the nutty sense of humour, also seen at the Dolby Forum and in various blog-replies. :^) Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed description of TMDR's and BT's collaboration on "Airwaves"! I haven't been able to get to any of Thomas' concerts yet, as I have my 78-year-old, bipolar [yeah, a.k.a. manic-depressive] mother to keep an eye on, so immobilized by love and responsibility as I am, I deeply appreciate it when people like yourself post lovingly-written and nicely-detailed descriptions of individual concerts. I appreciate both that you subscribed to Alloy to post this for us, and that TMDR cares enough to ask you to do him that favor, so that people like me can use our imaginations to fill in the audio blanks, based on your excellent descriptions. :^) Love and distinctive screen-names, Kara :^) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, > Thomas's response to my letter is intersting to read, now that several years have passed since his writing. > Among other things, he discusses the possibility of getting back into music, > and that he recorded something (turned out to be the "Forty" album). > > Anyway, the reason I'm posting now is because Thomas asked me to.
