I like these lower-key versions of the songs. TMDR's version of "Science" still retains a goodly measure of the electronic feel of the original, between the samples and the keyboard. It's a neat interpretation of the tune. It would have been interesting to hear it played on piano, for a totally stripped version. I think my favorite tune on the CD is Berlin's unplugged version of "The Metro." That's really cool. I picked up the best of INXS, too. I'm listening to it right now, pondering Michael Hutchence and his bizarre and fairly depressing departure from this world. My brother died on Friday, and I've been trying to make sense of things (and failing miserably, mostly.) One thing I will tell you - if you're trying to cheer yourself up with music, don't let iTunes try to play "I Love You Goodbye" three times in a row. (Damn that theoretically random "Party Shuffle" feature.) MJ http://merujo.blogspot.com Tired of spam? Yahoo!
