Along with new friends from the Dolby forum, I have an old college friend who will hopefully be attending one of the Chicago shows. His wife has epilepsy, so we're trying to determine if she can handle the visuals without ill effect. (I'm so hoping they decide it will be okay for her - it would be such a shame to miss the music!) It's something that I would never have thought of before, but now I'm much more aware of. We have folks here attending the Michigan show, right? How about Milwaukee and St. Paul? (Denver, heck, I know we have that one covered. ;-) Can't wait to hear how much you guys enjoy being the final date on the U.S. tour! That should be very special, indeed.) BTW, the reviews for Annapolis and Alexandria (from both fans and newspapers) were very good, indeed! (Not that this should be a surprise for anyone out here.) I feel bad that Rams Head was such a crowded space for TMDR and his crew to work in, but his team are amazingly good sports and real professionals. Plus, the audience was thrilled to be so close to the man as he worked his magic. If anyone would like to see the reviews, let me know, and I'll gladly post the links (they are also embedded as links in my latest blog entry.) I'd love to see the newspaper reviews from other points along the road, if anyone has them at hand from previous gigs on the tour. Yeppers - that's one of the two local ones I found here. The only problem with this one is that the reviewer isn't quite right - he didn't play "Screen Kiss." (Oh, wouldn't that have been nice?!?) I haven't seen anything for Cleveland today, and I haven't seen any other East Coast or West Coast stuff. I'm hoping that, when reviews come in, they'll be linked on the Press subpage of TMDR's website. Cheers, MJ Keith Stansell wrote: Google did snag this the other day.
