Talk about rapid >service. Hi all, I got mine yesterday morning. in Helsinki! I must have been pretty fast off the blocks with this one as my tickets are numbered 20 and 21. I guess that being permanently on-line these days does help me stop missing the action. What a difference from the past couple of years when I was almost permanently off-line. Anyone seen the video blog? Wow and double-wow! I am sooooo looking forward to Scala! Thomas played me a *very* small part of Radio Silence to me when I interviewed him in 2001 and that was the extent of my experience of him playing live! Now after a 25 year wait I finally get to see the whole shootin' match. Saying I can't wait is understatement of the year! I also ordered shirts from the web page today. The shop is open for business! I got our tickets (now just to find a babysitter) right away once I saw this. But before, I had not seen any pointers whatsoever to the means of getting tickets for this - including checking the www.nipp.com website, which seems to promote most of the Bluebird's shows. I note that the show does not appear to start until 9:00, though I have not seen when the doors open. You think there should be an Alloyite dinner celebrating your non-sole-inhabitantness beforehand? ;-) Cheers, Beth bethmeyer@mindspring.com Keith Stansell wrote: > > Wow - that sentence was mangled. > > I meant to say : and through TicketWeb, so the fees are not as bad as > TicketMaster (even though TicketMaster owns Ticketweb - evil!) > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-alloy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-alloy@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Keith > Stansell > Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2006 10:58 AM > To: alloy@smoe.org > Subject: Alloy: Colorado Tickets on sale now > > What a steal - only $15.00 , and though TicketWeb, so the fees are as bad as > Ticketmaster. > > http://www.ticketweb.com/user/?region=colorado&query=detail&event=666812 ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Apr 2006 11:37:58 -0600 From: "Keith Stansell" Subject: RE: Alloy: Colorado Tickets on sale now Handful of Colfax... Hi Beth, I did see a notice of the show in the "on sale now" part of the Bluebird's ad in Westword this week. The concert is also now listed on the NIPP calendar. That's how I got the link to the tickets. Per my ticket receipt (not sure why, but I got will call) the doors open at 8:00 PM. It's going to be a late "school night". A pre-show Alloy dinner would be great. A really good spot would be the Goosetown Tavern, on Colfax right across the street from the Bluebird: http://www.goosetowntavern.com. That way everyone can find a place to park in the neighborhood and not have to re-park between dinner and the show. We can also keep an eye on the Bluebird door in case a line starts to form. Generally though, since the Bluebird is standing room only up front, it is pretty easy to get situated near the stage if you want to without being absolutely first in line. Still, I think our little group would want to be early in so we can define our territory and hold it while others break off to do shopping with Lunesse and make beer purchases. The Goosetown is a nice place. It is owned by the same folks that own the Wynkoop (location of the first official meeting of the Colorado Alloy Contingent). It is kind of a small place, so we should arrive early before it gets too crowded pre-show to get a table. Not celebrating my non non-sole-inhabitantness, but celebrating the Sole Inhabitant Tour 2006! Yeah! - -Keith - -----Original Message----- From: owner-alloy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-alloy@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Beth Meyer Sent: Friday, April 28, 2006 9:56 AM To: alloy@smoe.org Subject: Re: Alloy: Colorado Tickets on sale now Hi, Keith; I just had to pass along a somewhat belated THANK YOU for the heads-up.
