I'm enjoying Thomas' blog. I have the RSS feed on my Google personalized start page, just above the "Church of the Big Sky". The only problem is that the blog is really making me want to see the new tour now. Sort of wish I had held off no going to those Feb. shows - but then again - I wouldn't have gotten to meet all you fine Alloy people, and Thomas as well. I'd consider a flight to Chicago, but new brakes on my car have bitten into the travel budget. Here's hoping for a last minute Colorado addition to the tour - but I have a feeling he's booked up as many shows as he feels comfortable with for now. Perhaps if we are lucky he'll do another tour later after the festivals. I hope. I guess I should be happy - I did get to see him earlier this year. - -Keith - -----Original Message----- From: owner-alloy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-alloy@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Melissa Jordan Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2006 8:01 AM To: alloy@smoe.org Subject: Alloy: New forum up and running at thomasdolby.com To go along with TMDR's spiffy (and really cool) blog, the new Dolby forum is open for business: http://forum.thomasdolby.com - if you were a member of the old forum, you have to re-register to join/post on this one. Hopefully, this is just the tip of the iceberg. :-) I can totally relate to the car-repair-sucking-the-life-out-of-you syndrome, just having had nearly $900 worth of work done in recent weeks. If Our Fearless Leader were not coming to my neck of the woods, I wouldn't be able to hit any of the shows, myself. I know I'm very fortunate, and I promise a full review. :-) Mr. Dolby's blog is down right now - must be some growing pains with the site changes. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
