Hello all!! So.. I've been here in Bangkok now since early November.. researching some opportunities for building a new life here. I was quite disappointed that I could not see the Dolby shows last month. Eventually.. I have to go back to the U.S.. but I don't really EVER want to go back.. so I decided I would buy tickets to the April shows to help force me to return! Fortunately.. utilizing the internet and a plastic card.. I managed to purchase tickets from here for both the Anaheim show AND the Agoura Hills show! My place is about dead center between the two venues.. so it will be a great week!! And it will help get me appropriately back into the exhorbitant spoiled habits of the land of excess.. Well.. just this once anyhow!! So.. it would certainly be fun to meet any other fellow Alloy members at one venue or the other.. if anyone is interested! I'm very excited to see Thomas perform again!! Best to all.. sawatdee krop and see you soon!! I'll probably head down there earlier in the day anyhow to avoid the afternoon traffic on I-5. Since you have the experience there with the dinner.. then show pacing.. I'll leave it to you to decide what time would best to start dinner. One thing to consider for me.. though. I have always felt that as important as it is.. the sound is still secondary in a live performance. If I want great audio complexities I listen to the recordings.. but for a live show it's the performance that I'm there to enjoy. So I generally like to be hugging the stage at shows or as close as I can be. With that in mind.. I'd like to be finished with dinner and ready to go to the floor before or just as the doors open to get a great spot to watch. I don't mind standing an hour to wait in a hot, sticky front of stage crowd.. but not sure if you'll want to. It's your call.. And meanwhile.. we'll keep building a contingent for the Anaheim show.
