What Beth said! I love the fun you inject here. We all have different personalities (and schizophrenic people like me have several different personalities that emerge each day!) I like the pep your posts add to our discussions. Oh, and we were just kidding about being schizophrenic. [1] Beth said it very well, us geezers can be a quiet bunch at times (okay, a lot of the time :-) but don't let that make you think we don't appreciate you! Paul. [1] oh, hang on, Patrick's replied as well. Just hang in there and don't worry about what others think. It's your forum as much as anyone else's. I enjoy your posts.. but I rarely have time to respond. Don't leave! Not a bad cover either. - -- Peter ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Feb 2006 13:03:55 -0500 From: "keith dawe" Subject: RE: Alloy: Me again...but hopefully for long time Dear Kara, I have to echo Beth's and others' comments to your surprise posting. You are a very welcome addition to our group. Hey, it's nice to get new blood that stirs the fires and gets the discussions going again. We have gone many, many months without a peep -- believe me! -- and yet we're all still here... like vampires sleeping in their tombs, awakening to feed on their next victim. Well, erm, I'm not trying to equate you to vampire food but I hope you get the, um, point. Some people perhaps join expecting a more lively (urk!) mailing list and I'm sorry if that we may disappoint. It's so easy to be enthusiastic about TMDR's works and especially now that he's performing again. We had to endure a drought for what feels like an eternity for this, and for a while it seemed that Thomas had moved on to other (though no less great) things. And if your comments reflect the feeling of being ignored, that's far from reality. I've posted many times and usually no one responds to my posts either! But that's because I usually respond to group discussion where everyone states their views -- no direct response is required. But if you ask a question, someone will answer! Honest. And we are all quirky in our differing ways. I don't feel I fit in from time to time, though I don't know why. Something to do with being detached from people when you're in cyberland, at least it's that way for me. But we're here for Dolby and if you love his music then really, you should be part of us. I've enjoyed your posts and it definitely makes reading e-mails less of a chore! Sincerely, Keith D. -------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Kara R. Oh, don't think of leaving, 'Luvvie. I think your e-mails are great! They always make me smile. I know I haven't been a member here for very long, but from what I've seen so far, it looks like a couple of message boards that I'm part of in that people post and respond as they feel moved to do so. Just normal posting fluxuation; I wouldn't take it too personally. :-) Cory (aka.
