I verified dinner reservations this morning. For Sunset HOB: There are three reservations that I'm aware of. One is under Melissa's name for 3 people, one is under the name of my friend Carlos and his wife, and one is in my name for (now) 9 people. The 9 and the 2 are for 5 p.m. Melissa, yours is for 5:30 p.m. She tied all three together so that hopefully we'll be seated in the same general vicinity. For Anaheim HOB: I'm sorry, Mike, but they wouldn't let me add five. Nor would they let me make a reservation for five in your name. She said at 4:30 p.m., a walk-up should be no problem, as it won't be too busy. So, said I, why can't I reserve a table now? Basically, I got "the computer won't let me" for a reply. While the Sunset HOB seems to have its act together, the Anaheim one seems staffed by idiots. I'm sorry. I'm excited also. The sad thing is, I remember the band name Dramarama, but for the life of me, can't remember any of their songs. (later..) Ok, looked them up and watched a couple of their videos on VH1s web site. They never really had an big hits did they Just a couple of semi-forgettable songs that got lost in the 90s (IMHO). http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/dramarama/artist.jhtml Are they technically the headliner or is it English Beat? - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2006 4:08 PM Subject: Re: Re: Alloy: ROLL CALL > > Pretty cool! I had forgotten. And I heard the food is excellent there. So we do plan to make it for dinner. But we're last minute sort of people so I have to keep it open. Now that I know Anaheim is sold out I'm guessing Sunset will be packed at least. I now don't know if we're driving, or taking the train, or what. I just know I'll be there. Grinning. Huge Grin. And floating. (I also might have an extra ticket, depending on whether or not Anne comes south with me.) Nice job on the flowers, btw!.
