I'm sorry I've been unavailable. My kids were in the local Nutcracker again, and, as far as volunteering as a backstage dresser, and getting kids to rehearsals and performances on time goes: it's a nut cracker, all right. Anyway, that's over now. I need to make hotel reservations myself! Keith, I contacted my L.A. friend and asked him about the drive between Anaheim and West Hollywood. Here's what he said: "That is a long drive. I estimate that on a Friday afternoon going from Anaheim to West Hollywood it could take him close to an hour and a half to get there. In the evening going back it won't be as bad. Maybe around 50 minutes or so. God forbid there should be any rain. Even though I am used to LA traffic I would not want to do that ride. Especially if alcohol is involved. Let me know what you guys plan on doing." (You'll meet him, he's our friend Ed, and he's bought a ticket for Anaheim as well. Great person.) Anyway, if it's possible, you might want to do two different hotels? How feasible is that? I'll be working on researching West Hollywood rooms today so I'll let you know what I find. For the record, I've procured babysitting for the weekend (*yay*) and can make plans to pick you up at the airport Friday if needed. Depends what time and etc., and whether you want your own transportation. We can get together on that. I haven't decided if I'm going to both shows yet - let me know what you find for hotels over in Hollywood. I know on my initial check they were a bit higher than I got at Anaheim. I'm reserved at the Radisson for 2 days, not sure what it takes to change that. I booked through Travelocity and got a flight/hotel package. My flight gets in a 9:45AM so I have a lot of time to make the drive over if I decide to go. But - I might just stick around Anaheim and check out the local attractions on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. It would be nice to see two rare TMDR appearances - but I can deal with just one. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elaine" To: Sent: Tuesday, December 13, 2005 11:05 AM Subject: Alloy: Anaheim vs. West Hollywood > > Hi everyone.
