Ah, Robin, I miss the old days too. The excitement of logging in to The Tap Room every day to see who was posting. The fun of writing 'The Emeritus Professor.' This mailing list was pretty busy, with several posts on most days. I was very sad when the Tap Room and the rest of that site shut down. And although ezboard exists now, it's not got the same vibe as the original. But it seems that you can't go back and recapture the feeling again. And quite a few regulars whom I think unsubscribed and are sorely missed - Croydon, Maurice, AlgieArch, Neil Leacy, John Hanson, John Scofield, Electrix... I could go on. How far things have come on the net since the early days. So many sites, so little time. Bill/Slarv PS Oh, mustn't forget to wish Lissu a Happy Birthday. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robin" To: Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2005 2:14 PM Subject: Alloy: look at us! > > I'm going through some old articles pertaining to Thomas' early days as a > performer, particularly in collaboration with Lene Lovich (this is for my > Theatre class, "Theories of Acting and Directing") And look what I've come > across, at the site where Saint Russ - a.k.a. You're right - imagine - I've now been on (and off) the list for over 10 years... It's really nice to see an old picture of me when I still had hair of course. Naturally I could have kept it but deliberately lost it over the years in homage to our great leader! A web site would definitely be a good idea and I'm sure everyone will support you in it - I wonder if Crackers has any shots of our mini get-together in London? And I still don't have hair as in the picture. Wow, has it been nearly 10 years. I have a floppy around here with some old Alloy postings from days gone by. I may have to re-visit those to emails to see what we were talking about all those years ago. I do miss the nearly daily Alloy posts - What did we talk about? I guess we are all busy or boring now :) If you do get a web site going - I have some pictures of the Colorado Alloy Contingent gatherings I could share. - -Keith ----- Original Message ----- From: Dunn Tim (Products O2) To: 'alloy@smoe.org' Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2005 2:11 AM Subject: Alloy: RE: alloy-digest V10 #6 Hi Robin!
