That happened around the time TWO WHEELS GOOD was released here in Brazil in mid 80's. I like the Sprouts so much that I think any album would be a perfect present, but being also a Dolby fan I would recommend: TWO WHEELS GOOD FROM LANGLEY PARK TO MEMPHIS JORDAN THE COMEBACK But I also like very much recent stuff which has not been so well received by many Prefab Sprouts's fans : ANDROMEDA HEIGHTS may lack some rock stuff (in BONNY or THE GOLDEN CALF vein), but has great tunes as ever. The only one I would not recommend is I TRAWL THE MEGAHEARTZ. Not because it is bad. It is a very beautiful album... melodic as any of its predecessors, but maybe too experimental for begginners. Anyway... your friend is a musician, then he can also appreciate MEGAHEARTZ ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V9 #116 ***************************
