I became a big fan of XTC with Oranges and Lemons while in college. If you would like to see a rare live performance of XTC, find a copy of URGH! A Music War. I think it is only on VHS, and not in print - good luck. I don't remember where it was, but I saw an interview with Andy Partridge and it sounded like a lot of the issue with him not wanting to perform live was due to their cruddy contract. It sounded like they were pretty much loosing money on each show on that tour - which sort of led to the breakdown. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: Bill Hargreaves To: alloy@smoe.org Sent: Monday, November 22, 2004 6:06 PM Subject: Alloy: Andy Partridge/XTC I know there are a couple of XTC fans here, so you may be interested to see http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A3100285 Slarv ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V9 #110 ***************************
