Got a nice digital camera recently so I've been going nuts taking pictures. Here's a little picture I figured those on the Alloy list would appreciate. Me and my favorite strap-on in the whole wide world. http://www.ghastlycomic.com/promotional/geekroom/ghastlydolbyaz1.jpg You can also see my virtual Geekroom Tour for those who may have missed it before, or just been annoyed by the crappy quality of the old pictures of my geekroom. http://forums.keenspace.com/viewtopic.php?p=699537#699537 Crackers Ghastly's Ghastly Comic http://ghastlycomic.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Aug 2004 14:06:38 -0700 From: William Steffey Subject: Re: Alloy: The Dolby AZ-1 And I. ...coming out of lurkdom to show my geekroom. http://www.williamsteffey.com/extra/level3/ (the guitars are in the closet). while yer there why not download my new EP "love song for kyrie snow" for free. peace, William Crackers wrote: >Got a nice digital camera recently so I've been going nuts taking pictures. >Here's a little picture I figured those on the Alloy list would appreciate. >Me and my favorite strap-on in the whole wide world. > >http://www.ghastlycomic.com/promotional/geekroom/ghastlydolbyaz1.jpg > >You can also see my virtual Geekroom Tour for those who may have missed it >before, or just been annoyed by the crappy quality of the old pictures of my >geekroom. > >http://forums.keenspace.com/viewtopic.php?p=699537#699537 > >Crackers > >Ghastly's Ghastly Comic >http://ghastlycomic.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Aug 2004 13:51:30 -0600 From: "Keith Stansell" Subject: Alloy: Geek rooms Well - while we are at it showing our geek rooms, follow the link for my AV Geek Room - The "Subterranean Cinema" that I built last summer in my basement. http://gallery.avsforum.com/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=5791 I did it all myself including a home-made screen. The projector is connected to a computer for games and such. I have a MIDI keyboard I've been meaning to hook up to it and play with. Hey Colorado Alloyers - anyone for coming over and watching a couple of Laserdiscs and other TMDR related video down there? Perhaps sometime in mid October? - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "William Steffey" To: Sent: Tuesday, August 24, 2004 3:06 PM Subject: Re: Alloy: The Dolby AZ-1 And I. > > ...coming out of lurkdom to show my geekroom. > http://www.williamsteffey.com/extra/level3/ (the guitars are in the > closet). while yer there why not download my new EP "love song for > kyrie snow" for free. peace, > William > > > Crackers wrote: > > >Got a nice digital camera recently so I've been going nuts taking pictures. > >Here's a little picture I figured those on the Alloy list would appreciate. > >Me and my favorite strap-on in the whole wide world. > > > >http://www.ghastlycomic.com/promotional/geekroom/ghastlydolbyaz1.jpg > > > >You can also see my virtual Geekroom Tour for those who may have missed it > >before, or just been annoyed by the crappy quality of the old pictures of my > >geekroom. > > > >http://forums.keenspace.com/viewtopic.php?p=699537#699537 > > > >Crackers > > > >Ghastly's Ghastly Comic > >http://ghastlycomic.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Aug 2004 17:30:34 -0400 From: "Crackers" Subject: Re: Alloy: Geek rooms Man... everyone else's Geekrooms are so much nicer decorated than mine. Someone is probably going to be getting a pretty good deal on that since it's only available to people in the bay area. Boy, Thomas sure has been unloading a lot of gear lately. It's almost enough to make a body nervous. Say, has anyone heard from Thomas lately? Our boy's been rather quiet as of late. Have his old gambling debts caught up with him? Has someone gotten some compromising photos of Brenda O'Leary they're threatening to publish? Or is he just cleaning house? No comparison at all! And how it the world can someone call it a geek room if there aren't at least a few cables dripping along between shelves and keyboards.. etc?? Now THAT's what I'm talking about! It came out around the same time as your Mirage. In the rack I've got an EMU Proteus, an Akai Z4 sampler, along with some other odds and ends. The Tascam monitors in the picture have been replaced by Mackie 624s. Digital wavetable with analogue filters if I remember correctly. And by that I mean across the ocean (in England), not relapsed into dressing like Brenda O'Leary. ^_^ Crackers Ghastly's Ghastly Comic http://ghastlycomic.com ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V9 #73 **************************
