Mind you, I was expecting her clitoris to suddenly turn into a tentacle. On the subject of comics, I just found a small press specifically for printing comics that is really inexpensive, much less expensive than Cafepress's POD service. http://www.comixpress.com You might want to pass that along to your friend if he/she's looking to go print anytime. They'll even set up an online store. This seems to be the best small press pricing I've found for comics. I'm hoping this will finally get me off my lazy ass and working on the Ghastly's Ghastly Graphic Novel. I've been wanting to start a new webcomic series for some time but I'll likely wait until I've moved off Keenspace before I start it. The new one will be a drama, something completely different from GGC. The new comic will also be in regular comic format, not yonkonmanga (4 panel) format like the current strip. I'm hoping the new comic, which won't be focused on sexual humour, will be at least as popular as my current comic. I've been taking a lot of guff from fellow webcomic artists lately who claim I'm only popular because, in their words, I produce pornography. Personally I think it's just bitter grapes that I have more readers than they do. There seems to be a misconception that if you produce a comic with adult material it will become an instant success. What they fail to realize is that thousands of comics have tried the "tits for hits" formula and their corpses litter the internet. It's a silly assumption when the most popular webcomics are all rated PG-13 or below. I seriously doubt anyone is reading my strip for wank material. I'm just not that good an artist. Writing is more important than artwork when it comes to comic strips. If you don't have solid writing, people arn't going to keep coming back. And in other news, a webcomic artist who bought adspace on my site is going to buy more ads. I appearently increased his readership by 15000. Woohoo! I love it. Makes me laugh with glee at the foolishness of my old sponsor (especially since I'm earning more money now).
