["p.latham2" Subject: Alloy: Bruce Woolley & useless bits of info. Hi everyone, not a lot been happening in regards my Thomas collection recently but im please to say my Bruce Woolley related discography has been greatly improved including :- House of Wax / All at once 7" single which was to have been from the unreleased 2nd Camera Club LP - Thomas not involved.House of Wax is excellent. Several tracks by the wonderful Radio Science Orchestra - inc. Brightest Star a wonderful tune. & 3 tracks he worked on alongside actor 'Rupert Everett'. I am currently awaiting a copy of the James Doman remix of 'Science' - has anyone got it yet - any good ??? Also I thought id mention that about a month ago went to see Tony Hadley (spandau ballet) & Go West in a joint gig in Preston,Lancs, I think Tony is a brilliant singer - but the whole gig was pretty reasonable - not quite my cup of tea - but my wife & sister in law loved it - i much prefer the jumping up & down with a pint of beer sort of gig to the swaying about. In that regards I believe that Mark E Smith & The Fall currently touring in the US - that man is a God -- currently he is touring & performing in a wheelchair due to slipping on stage & breaking his leg or something - now thats something all these modern stars shoudl think about -- 28yrs touring & nothing will stop him . Finally - ive always amused my wife with my studying of sleevenotes whenever i buy an LP / CD -- but I was proved correct again when the other day we were given an easter present of some childrens cd's for my daughter 'Emily' - I of course studied the finer details to find that they were ' engineered by Les Chappell' - is this our Lene Lovich' Les ???? Anyway - thought id write as everyting was so ssshhhhhh 'quiet' Best Wishes all Paul (Blackpool). ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V9 #44 **************************
