We opened for a band called "White Cowbell Oklahoma" which is one of the coolest rock "show" bands that I have seen in years. We played as "Drunk Uncle Charlie" a duo with Crackers on the Accordion and "The Dolby" keyboard and me on guitar. So... my sister took pictures of the event and I have posted them for your perusal at http://ca.geocities.com/iangiffordmusic/ducpics.html ... there are even pictures of crackers with the infamous "DOLBY" keyboard.... I will say here now that Crackers is one of the coolest musicians that I have had the pleasure to work with and is a consumate professional. I love this man's songs with all of my heart and hope that we can work together many more times.... now... only if Thomas himself was there to play his own casio board one last time could it have been a cooler gig... Speaking of which... Hey... Thomas... David Bowie is coming to London in May... if there is any chance that you might want to fly in and jam with him... will you please let me know and I will put you up here at the studio for the night... peace all, Ian _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Great to see you both in action. Thanks to Ian's sister for the excellent pics! cheers, Paul. [off to make chicken & mushie pasta. Mushie as in mushroom, the pasta won't be mushie... well, that's the plan.] ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 29 Feb 2004 11:40:14 EST From: CJMark@aol.com Subject: Re: Alloy: Thanks to Alloy.... No no, Ian lives in London Ontario, which is only a 4 hour bus ride from Hamilton Ontario. So it wasn't international. Not even interprovincial. Behold the awsome might of my HUGE GIGANTIC HEAD! I swear a good 20% of my body mass is contained in my giant head. Unfortunally Ian, the last picture in your set is coming up 404, which is a pity since it is my favorite one inthe bunch.
