Thanks. Not surprisingly nowhere seems to have it. I've got a search going on eBay. I found several copies of Joni Mitchells' "Dog Eat Dog" though. Are there any other Dolby productions I should look out for? I know about PreFab Sprouts, Camera Club etc. 'til the next time, Chris (Room 1 - Blue Hotel) - --- 'thestateless1' - AIM, ICQ, MSN, YAHOO NO MAN'S LAND - http://www.bluehotel.co.uk News - Reviews - Discography - Biography - Pix - Lyrics - Links - more ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Feb 2004 19:08:46 -0500 From: Russell Milliner Subject: Re: Alloy: George and Tom get funky He did surprisingly do some work with Joni Mitchell on her later album "Chalk Mark in a Rain Storm". Interestingly he is credited on the same song with Billy Idol and Willie Nelson. Now that is a strange combination for one song. - -Russ Chris Good wrote: >on 18/2/04 6:00 PM, Jon Drukman at jsd@cluttered.com wrote: > > > >>At 09:40 AM 2/18/2004, Chris Good wrote: >> >> >> >>>Which George Clinton LP did Dolby produce? >>> >>> >>"some of my best jokes are friends." >> >> > >Thanks. Hi all, Got a funny story for you. So let's say that you've had a fledgling blog going for a year or so that gets read by one or two people (nono, /literally/ one or two people, I'd get stage-fright if there were more!), and back when Robin told us about Rather Good's We Like The Moon, you do a blog entry about it, and put a screen grab of it in there for good measure. I mean try describing a Spongmonkey by text alone... Let's also say that said blog gets regularly spidered (as most sites do) by the likes of Google etc. and by a strange twist of fate, the aforementioned screen-grab ends up being the first hit you get when you do a Google Image search for "spongmonkey". Let's also say that due to the sellout hussies (not that there's anything wrong with that) -er- selling out in a Quiznos commercial, the animals get wider exposure. Now, imagine what happens to said blog site's access logs when a few people start linking to said image as their avatar in several forums. Very active forums. Populated by very bored people. Accessed every time they post, and every time anyone reads that thread, once for each post... Haven't seen that much activity in the logs since I was MacSurfered. :-) P. Now, what to do with this power... [starts thinking of graphics to slip in place of ] Hmm? No, of /course/ I wouldn't... ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V9 #22 **************************
