My shower drained slowly and when I cleaned it I found gobs and gobs of hair. Same thing for a shower drain in the basement - unnatural amounts of hair. Sasquatch I thought. I later found out that a woman who lived in my house ran a beauty salon in the basement - guess that explained all the hair. Nothing more ironic than a guy with a shaved head (at the time) cleaning gobs and gobs of hair out of his drains. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Adams" <praest76@cancellation.freeserve.co.uk> >... I hate using chemical drain opener but nothing else was working. When the chemicals got through to whatever was down there, a very foul odor filled the apartment. I hope it wasn't a dead mouse. xx ~r Yahoo! It was about "Europa and the Pirate Twins" and was a story about a guy (a shy sensitive scientist who hasn't got much of a life) who goes back to a small seaside town every year hoping that his childhood love will show up to meet him. In his head he has idealised what she will be like and when she shows up she is, of course, nothing like that. She's in a lot of trouble, and running away from her pimp. The hero has to get over that, and decide whether to help her, but being a bit sheltered and geeky, he's really not sure if he wants to help her - or how. As you can probably tell, I was *very* young when I wrote it! But it just goes to show that there's nothing so strange it can't happen.
