["Crackers" Subject: Alloy: Shifting Eunics Well, this certainly is sounding interesting! Bravo Peter for your eloquent expression of disgust for the crass commercialism of the modern music industry. Which, of course, has forever been crassly commercial, methinks. Even TD had his time in the pipeline. But, you may agree, the current boatload of piffle being served up is really awful. I guess getting old makes your ears smarter. With such an attitude, it is to be hoped that disgruntled music fans wanting more will hit the internet, kiss a few frogs, and find independent musicians that they can like/love. For any who want to begin this journey, I can suggest garageband.com, starpolish.com, vitaminc.com, ic-musicmedia.com, and quite a few others are out there. Here's hoping the lowest common denominator gets so low as to disappear completely . . . cheers, - -Tom <<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>> happy little tunes: "http://www.emeraldsoul.com" > >> We can only hope he does it for the personal satisfaction, >> and for the reasonable income he could generate by selling >> direct in the digital age (cutting out the middleman). > > Something more artists should be doing.
