["Robin Thurlow" Subject: Alloy: tech tv sighting Hey folks, I was surfing the channels hard yesterday, and got to Tech TV, where I caught the tail end of a piece they did on Auction Drop, and guess who was signing a black keyboard in some kind of silvery ink? now, all I saw was a hand signing "Thomas Dolby" but presumably in the part I did not catch, thgey interviewed him? Anyone else catch this? It may also be on the Tech TV website? cheers, - -Tom <<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>> a spider-hole favorite! http://www.emeraldsoul.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Dec 2003 07:39:37 -0700 From: "Keith Stansell" Subject: Re: Alloy: tech tv sighting Do you remember the show? Was it The Screen Savers? I might still have it on my Tivo. I was trying to remember where I heard the term "blinded by science" on TV yesterday - The TV was on and I was doing something else, but I'm pretty sure I heard someone use that phrase or a variation of it. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "esoul" To: Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2003 7:18 AM Subject: Alloy: tech tv sighting > > Hey folks, > > I was surfing the channels hard yesterday, and got to Tech TV, where I > caught the tail end of a piece they did on Auction Drop, and guess who was > signing a black keyboard in some kind of silvery ink? now, all I saw was a > hand signing "Thomas Dolby" but presumably in the part I did not catch, > thgey interviewed him? > > Anyone else catch this? Well, back to work I guess. The picture's not gonna ink itself. Man's best friend may be a dog.. but a musician's best friend is duct tape! It carries over into the film biz too.. but I learned its value when I was playing in bands. I still have rolls of different colored duct tape standing by for any emergency! I always wondered why women seem to hang around whenever I peel off a strip! Thanks for enlightening us! Oh.. and by the way.. if you'd like I can bring a roll or two along when we meet for drinks! :-D Ciao for now..
