Ok. Just thought I'd share. Wonderfully surreal moment update: Just saw Thomas playing the trombone with his nose again... Wow. God I love that man... (Almost - ALMOST I tell you! - as good as joyously viewing a game of billiards through the wrong end of a telescope...) Any other favorite surreal images from his videos (or songs for that matter!) that we care to admit to? Come on - 'fess up! Damien Damien J. Sweeney President/CEO Network Professionals, Inc. P.S. Happy belated birthday Thomas, and thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all of your wonderfully inspiring work. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Oct 2003 17:20:49 -0600 From: "Keith Stansell" Subject: Re: Alloy: RE: Wonderfully surreal moment update... Although Thomas isn't really in this part of the video, I always liked the part of "I Scare Myself" where the busy waiter and waitress sort of find themselves in a dreamy dance sequence. I think it happens as they pass through the kitchen door. Then it ends and they are back waiting tables. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Damien Sweeney" To: Sent: Thursday, October 16, 2003 5:10 PM Subject: Alloy: RE: Wonderfully surreal moment update... > > Ok. It was a struggle to get it. You order one pressing and they send you another just because it is the same album... or because that one is not in stock at the moment...... I've just heard it for the 1st time. I am very happy That the version is great.... very raw. Also loved the cover... Thomas center stage... Great to see that picture in a 12" size. I still prefer the synth-pop version, but I loved this one too. It would be great if there was a rock version of the whole WIRELESS album, not just Radio Silence. ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V8 #169 ***************************
