Thanks! I thought it my duty to offer a brief review since Tom was so nice to just give it to me. I'm not sure we've even met before; 'course I've barely been even lurking around Alloy lately. On his website, he mentions a number of artists that the music is similar to. But I think there's one he missed that describes much closer, overall, what Emerald Soul sounds like... Prefab Sprout. Even though Prefab Sprout tends to 'defy' the accepted 'norm' in song structure and Emerald Soul doesn't, the sound is very similar. Must be the Thomas influence, huh? While the song structure is well disciplined, its never boring! This music is full of life and invention. To me its more of a soft jazz than anything else.
