Apparently record companies who need to discount their way into the charts for singles are making more money off mobile content these days! By the way, anyone interested in chart metrics - the artist I play for has her single out on the 25th - (for anyone interested it's 'This Is Who I Am' by Kezi Silverstone) and apparently to get into the UK Top 40 you need to sell (count'em) 2000 singles - that's it! 3500 sales will get you into the Top 30!!! Can you believe that??? Surely all you need to do is hire a few students to drive round the country buying them up and hey presto. Once you get into the to p40 they have to playlist you, which should get you into the top 30. It's a sick game, the music biz! Hope all is well with everyone!
