You are lucky this is a small list. I've seen moderators on some groups driven to drink over people requesting unsubscription. It's not too bad normally, it's the abusive ones that are the problem. The ones who demand to be unsubscribed like it's spam they are receiving or something. - -- PRAEst76 http://www.cancellation.freeserve.co.uk/praest76/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 09:36:12 -0500 From: Lee Jackson Subject: Re: Alloy: Unsubscribe? I'll never forget this because someone on CNN reported it in a very grim tone. Unless this was part of the joke... it was just exquisitely funny. xx ~r ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 15:56:28 +0100 From: PRAEst76 Subject: Re: Alloy: Unsubscribe? I'll never forget this because someone on CNN > reported it in a very grim tone. It's possible they had the tone box still set to 'grim' from a previous news item. Ever noticed how news readers ALWAYS have the same tones of voice for reading the news? I'm sure it's a little electronic box. Or do you think they actually speak like that. And go home to their families and talk to them like that. - -- PRAEst76 http://www.cancellation.freeserve.co.uk/praest76/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 21:52:57 +0300 From: Subject: Alloy: Another message from Jon... This is the group which featured Kevin Armstrong & Matthew Seligman & a drummer whose name escapes me at present. Well another item for my Thomas / Thomas related groups etc - but id rather be buying new Thomas items. I wonder if Thomas is going to unsubscribe - he is probably sick of hearing us requesting new stuff , he is possibly sitting there thinking no chance - ive better things to be doing with my life. -- or is he suddenly going to suprise us with a new LP featuring Lene Lovich, Kevin Armstrong, Matthew Seligman & Bruce Woolley -- wow what a line up . & more amazingly all still linked with the music business -- not many modern artists will be still involved 25 years later.
