I do have somewhere 2 promotional postcards for 'Close But No Cigar' I
remember one at least had a picture of a UK Politician of the time - I have
still got them somewhere., plus some shop cardboard adverts.
Their were videos for both Silk Pyjamas & I Love You Goodbye - the latter
was exceptionally good with Thomas floating down a river with his piano & if
I remember correctly his wife was also in the video. Silk Pyjamas video was
quite nice too set somewhere very warm definately not near me . I believe I
do have snippets of both of these on video somewhere also .
I also like some of my promo 12" vinyl records ie different sleeves or
different labels on the vinyl itself eg
May the Cube 12" - is a black & white sleeve ,& black & white label but no
mention of Thomas or Dolbys Cube - just 'DC'.
& a promo 12" Get Out of My Mix - which has a plain sleeve but the label on
the vinyl is green - with a red stamp naming the group & tracks on it.
Plus of course the marvellous sleeve for the French 12" of Windpower.taken
from a video still .
Paul (Blackpool).
