I was a few days late in that I ordered mine 2 days after receiving the email as I was away for the weekend. Sods Law! With Forty I answer the notification email immediately (probably the first to do so as I was online at the time), but still got 43. Anyway who cares? Thomas touched it and that's all that matters. I even got a gold finger print on this one! No James Bond references necessary. Anyway, something else I noticed was that the CD signed by Thomas was different to the CD I bought a few weeks earlier. The label Thomas signed appeared to be the sticky label type, whereas the original I bought is one of those more professional looking print on CD type. Maybe they were specially made for autographing? The CD's even have different catalogue No's. Howdy, Just a quick (re)introduction from a guy named Tom who used to be on the Dolby list a few years back, then changed computers and lost out and had a kid and etc. etc. but just now found time to rejoin. I always enjoyed the quality of folks here, so happy to be back I am! I of course respect TD very much, and Astronauts is one of my top 5 desert island CDs. I will read the archive to find out what this "Submarines" thing is . . . seems like a good one! By the way, the existence of Alloy is somewhat hard to track down on the internet, I had looked for it earlier but found lots of broken links. Persistence pays! thanks Robyn for keeping the ship going! take care then, - -Tom ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V8 #80 **************************
