One of our submarines mixes by Salz - including the version by Thomas off '40' (I think) has now been released - I am still however awaiting details re formats available - poss vinyl & cd - and prices - once details received I will update. Also for anyone whose interested - I notice that 'LOW NOISE - JUNGLE LINE 7"' is currently available on Ebay - for those without a copy it is an excellent record different to the Live Wireless version of Jungle Line and also contains the elusive 'Urban Tribal' again not the Live version. Plus - my Bruce Woolley collection is increasing almost weekly - my latest is a recording by a group called 'the Studs' its a 1970's disco record co-written by Bruce but hes not involved with the band. The single was released in New Zealand of all places & called 'Dr Bop' - they also had a hit I believe with a song called 'Funky Feet ' maybe someone from alloy in Australasia may have heard of them. Also I just got the sound track to the Avengers film which inclued a track written by Bruce & performed by his Radio science Orchestra with Grace Jones & also Matthew Seligman. Hope to update soon re Salz - Paul in a very sunny & warm Blackpool England - (yes I did say warm in England). ------------------------------ Date: 21 Aug 2002 17:42:11 -0000 From: "Daniel Swan" Subject: Alloy: Re: Seeking: MP3 copy of Gothic I've got a cassette, but cassettes don't convert well to quality MP3.. They certainly don't. Vinyl you cna clean up. I have a bad collection of mp3s to replace my sadly delapidated LP. I COULD upload them but I was actually looking for a better rip myself. Some people tried to edit the CD into separate tracks and becuase i grabbed separate rips it's all uneven. - -- PRAEst76 http://www.cancellation.freeserve.co.uk/praest76/ ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V7 #168 ***************************
