If my mobile supported such a thing, I'd do best my best to program it to play Hyperactive. I think it would work well, and loop quite well. By the time I get a phone that does that sort of thing, everyone else will be polyphonic :o) +AndyJ+ - -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 9 Aug 2002 14:43:05 +0100 From: "Sally Allan" Subject: Re: Alloy: Re: ring tones > >What other tunes have TMDR fans on their phones? I used to alternate between the theme tune from "Space Above and Beyond" and Tchaikovsky's Pathetique until some bastard stole my phone. Then I discovered the website I'd got them from was dead. Since my phone is a Nokia 7110 I can't program it myself and the tunes are lost forever . That's a big drawback for me - that I can't back up my ringtone. Now I have "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim but it's just not the same. Actually, the one thing I'd really like on my mobile is a locator bleep where, even if the phone is switched off, you have a little remote control thing that makes it bleep anyway so you can still find it. I wonder if anyone has made a little keyring-type thing that does this? I'll have to investigate... Oh man, I miss "Space Above and Beyond." That show was really good, dang it. So, of course, it was cancelled. Grrrrr. I'm looking forward to the new sci-fi show "Firefly" on Fox this fall. Created by Joss "Buffy" Whedon, written by Joss and Ben "The Tick" Edlund. What a marvelous combination. Whoo-hoo! Traffic patterns changed again today in downtown DC. Another late arrival at work thanks to the sudden choices of the Secret Service... Grrr... - - Melissa J. Melissa R. Here in the UK we rarely see US shows that are depressing, or feature ugly or fat people, so we assume they aren't popular there. Here most TV is depressing and features many ugly people. What a marvelous combination. Whoo-hoo! This is the show that means it's going to take longer, if ever, for Whedon get around to making the Rupert Giles spinoff show at the BBC... I was looking forward to that. It would be almost guaranteed to be depressing and feature many ugly but talented british actors. - -- PRAEst76 http://www.cancellation.freeserve.co.uk/praest76/ np: Einst|rzende Neubauten - Das Schaben ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V7 #158 ***************************
