I'll zoom up there and check out the situation in the a.m. The Airwaves/Wreck of the Fairchild is usually around $7, regular price, so who knows what fabulous bargain it is now! Hey - you ever shop at Evil Clown? I found some great stuff there the one time I got to go. (And it was right by the rather interesting alternative lifestyle gift store, GayMart. I was with a profoundly gay French Canadian friend of mine, so we had to check it out. We went in there, and I found some greeting cards featuring GI Joe dolls having "interesting adventures" with real human models. I don't usually bat an eye at this, but the "GI Joe goes spelunking" card made me yell, "WHOA! What is THAT?" and I heard the owner yell back, "Another straight girl has found the GI Joe cards!" There was much laughter in the store...) Oh dear, once again, an innocent post about Dolby music has somehow ended in something less innocent. Anyhoo, William, I'll give you scoopage tomorrow! Thanks Melissa- I'm totally interested in that 45- esp. if it's $7 or less! I have been to Evil Clown records- which is pretty much at ground zero of Chicago's gay neighborhood, explaining the Spelunking GI Joe. Not to say that a healthy hetero can't enjoy the fun a Spelunking GI Joe provides. ?W Merujo wrote: >Hey, William! > >I'll zoom up there and check out the situation in the a.m. The Airwaves/Wreck of >the Fairchild is usually around $7, regular price, so who knows what fabulous >bargain it is now! > >Hey - you ever shop at Evil Clown? And one Airwaves/Wreck of the Fairchild that now belongs to one William Steffey. :-) And that's the scoop from This Nation's Stinky Hot and Humid Capital. Cheers, Melissa J. - -- Melissa R. Not that my return is deserving of such fanfare, but I've finally re-joined this list after much absence. Is the same old gang still here? Anyway, I have some old recording of a Thomas Dolby interview (one of those promotional packages that are sent to radio stations, I believe) broadcast back around '83. I don't know how readily available this recording is -- some used record shops sell the discs that have htese interviews/promos -- but I can make it available to anyone who is interested (Mp3 via e-mail). Unless TMDR has any objections himself...
