I don't really ever mind them, and in fact I think they're fascinating. I heard one singing once, a barely detectable whirring noise like a cricket only continuous (not intermittant) I think the ones that came in the box must be some kind of hunter species. I got to work with the thorns a little bit this morning & I love them.,.. thanks again Julie :) xxxx ~R ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 May 2002 17:02:06 +0100 From: "Sally Allan" Subject: Re: Alloy: Photo of the day > GORGEOUS dress - and it looks like the day was beautiful! > Congratulations, Dennis and Teresa! That means it should show up at the very beginning of hour 5, which premieres Friday night. Hopefully, our satellite installation will go smoothly, so I don't miss it. (Rant on why I switched from cable to satellite available upon request. ;)) So we know Thomas isn't a one-hit wonder, but if other people must consider him one, at least he's near the top of the list. ;) Robyn M @ Robyn Moore @ http://www.wiccans.net/robyn.html @ You knew the job was dangerous when you took it. - S.C. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 08 Apr 2002 16:01:06 -0700 From: Jon Drukman Subject: Re: Alloy: One-Hit Wonder Countdown on VH1 At 02:45 PM 5/8/2002, Robyn Moore wrote: > Okay, so I cheated and looked up the list on VH1's website, and SBMWS > comes in at #20 on their One-Hit Wonder countdown. (Rant on why I switched from cable to satellite available upon request. ;)) i recently switched from cable to satellite (directv + tivo actually) and it was a great move. i'm extremely pleased. i now get vh1 classic which plays TMDR fairly often in their "this is the 80's show. (so far i've seen radio silence and SBMWS). - -jsd- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 08 May 2002 16:44:12 -0700 From: Robyn Moore Subject: Re: Alloy: One-Hit Wonder Countdown on VH1 At 04:01 PM 08/04/2002, you appeared to say: >i recently switched from cable to satellite (directv + tivo actually) and >it was a great move. i'm extremely pleased. > >i now get vh1 classic which plays TMDR fairly often in their "this is the >80's show. I went for Dish because a) it has some of the channels I want that DirecTV doesn't, and b) DirecTV doesn't have a broadcast agreement with the local CBS station. VH1 Classic is great - I'm so glad Dish picked it up recently, because I'd miss it terribly. And I agree - Thomas does get a good amount of airplay. Not only do they show SBMWS and Radio Silence, but they also show the Heavy Breather Subversion edit of Hyperactive. (That's the one that runs 5 minutes and doesn't have a flute section.) Boy, was I a happy camper when I saw that. I keep checking the Chunky Records website to no avail. I want this! Can anyone tell me where to locate one of our submarines?
