This afternoon I picked up a big box of extremely lovely thorny branches which Julie sent me from her garden! Thank you Julie, they're gorgeous & it's exactly what I'll be needing for my work. Also arriving in the same package were some new friends, well *spiders* anyway. I don't know what kind they were but they were certainly aggressive little bastards. One of them took up a battle stance on the edge of the box and refused to leave.. it reared its tiny legs up in the air at me & wouldn't budge. The others took their time wandered out & began spinning out lines & making webs on the grass. They were brown, of similar design to a wolf spider only more delicate, and each could have fit on my fingernail (were I brave enough to get that close to one, that is!). I opened the box outside; because I noticed one of the spiders - the pissed-off one - could be seen on the other side of the tape, and moved when I tapped the box, so I knew I had some travellers :) There was also a tiny red one that raced straight out of the box the moment I opened it. Julie, do you know what these were? xxx ~R Yahoo!
