I haven't looked at Crackers' latest Flash (I'm at work, and he warned us
about that...!)  But he mentioned it's inspired by a cartoon about capital H
he's parodying.  It made me remember this really lovely Schoolhouse Rock
cartoon about Figure 8, which I think was the first time i heard solo cello
(or at least simulated solo celloishness) and I fell in love.  Amazing how
such early experiences really take hold.  Or maybe these things are already
within us waiting to be inspired.  I also loved the classical bits on Bugs
Bunny, especially the opera parodies :)

Now that I've mentioned it, I'm worried Crackers will do an adult version of
Figure 8.

My only problem with this animation was it was too short!  We need more

After watching that one through (twice) I understand why you're 
called "Crackers"! ;)

Speaking of which (posting things that may one day be used against 
you on the web, that is <g>), I haven't done much new music in lo 
these many years, but I've recently converted some of the old stuff 
to .mp3 and posted it to the web . . . includes remixed tracks done 
with a Casio keyboard and a consumer tapedeck from high school and 
more modern (and, I suppose, dismal) stuff done with my more 
complete, though now mothballed, music studio.

Some of the instrumental stuff undoubtedly shows the influence of 
repeated listenings to 'Golden Age of Wireless', although there's not 
much I could have ever done to reveal any influence in vocal 
stylings. ;)

No Flash accompaniment. One day, perhaps. ;)

Glad everyone is enjoying the Capital H flash. It almost got a friend fired
because s/he was singing it out loud at work without realizing it.

Checked out Kevin's MP3s. Absolutely love the "Ned Was A Terminally Happy
Guy". Definetly some Flash Fodder there.
