About 6 years ago, I remember this made-for-TV movie, something about some evil villain blowing up bombs off the coast to create tidal waves to destroy the coastline of California... something like that. It was obvious that the movie was low budget which didn't bother me as near as much as the computers they used in the movie! This was the age where at least half of the homes in America had at least a 386 or perhaps a Pentium. In the movie they used these fake mainframe-like things with all the blinking red lights that looked like they were from a 50's sci-fi! For crying out loud - they could have at least used the cheezy Brother word processor the author probably scripted the story on and convinced at least twice as many people! I had to stop watching it, it hurt my laughability so much! ...and scarred its stupidity into my unforgiving and unforgetting memory! Make them stop!!! Please!!!! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2002 23:16:24 -0800 From: "jamac" Subject: Re: Alloy: Re: 20th Anniversary of Synth-Pop Drukman said > don't remember if i sent this before, but here's a video clip from my last > live show. > > http://electro.pretension.com/another_day_live.mpg Ok, I've been away from Alloy for awhile. How in the world do I get ahold of some of your material! I love it! I went to http://electro.pretension.com but got the message "pretension records website will return in a short while... ", so maybe I'll just have to try later. ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V7 #53 **************************
