Subject: Alloy: "Forty" & EWIs

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Alloy and wanted to pop up, say hello (Hello!) and ask a
question.

First though, the Forty formalities: Lucky me, #390. Now #40, that
would be the one to have! Mind you, I only stumbled across the fact
that the album was available when I was browsing as I do every so often
to see what TMDR is up to. I was delighted to see it, even more so that
I didn't have to get out of my chair to get something that would never
make it to the corner store in Australia anyway.

The question: It's a long shot, but does anyone know exactly which
tracks on "Forty" make use of an EWI (and for bonus points, what
make/model EWI was it)?

I know about "I Scare Myself", because TMDR mentions it - but I'm
suspicious about "I Love You Goodbye". I'm one of those folk who loves
EWIs, and I'd like to wave the flag for "Forty"/Brian Salter/TMDR in the
Windsynth discography (www.windsynth.org) of albums with EWIs.

Oh, and if I had to pick another track for inclusion on "Forty", it'd be
"Europa and the Pirate Twins", just because I need more music to play in
the car ;-)

Cheers,
AnnMarie

Man! I'm wishing I had I copy of that! I think I've got one in storage,
waaaayyyy back in the back. Anyway, its analog and I'm sure Thomas wants
something of better quality. I also don't have a Quicktime converter.

Keith, you might want to try
http://www.adobe.com/products/golive/tryreg.html for a free trial. If I
followed the links right, this tool creates Quicktime files.
