I am glad everything worked out for you. It is a simple reaction to voice a negative reaction when something goes wrong. Dont worry, I have done it also. (Criticized my current job, profs in college classes, and lines in general - being a quality management major - i can relate to your gripe and many other gripes from other people). I am glad to you made ammends with cdbaby and customs and they have worked with you to address and fix the problem. Making ammends is the best approach. Unfortunately, some services and some people do but some do not. I can go off about certain issues but not at this time. Glad things worked out for you Jon. As for the topic of spam. I dont get much spam on my main address but somehow i get a lot of other addresses that i dont use. Figure that. Everytime i get spam, I click the unsubscribe button on the bottom of the spam, if there is one, and i get off the list. I have heard stories that this does not work but just invites more spam. It works for me, so far.... Other tracks that I would have like to see on 40. I also would've like to see Cruel and Airwaves. Puppet Theatre would have been nice. So would Beauty of a Dream and Urban Tribal. Maybe on a second volume of 40 or future live releases. Does anyone have a copy of the Live Wireless video, PLUS the ability to turn a bit of it into a Quicktime file? What I need is the whole of "One of our Submarines." There is a chance that a label in Europe is releasing a sort of EP of remixes of the song, and they desperately need to get hold of that video so they can lift some images for the artwork on the sleeve. I kinda need this by Monday--can any kind soul help me out? if so, please email it to these addresses: thomas@beatnik.com and bill@aestheti.com. I might even show my appreciation with one of those sought-after low-numbered "Forty" CDs! Did you get a response for this yet? I have the Golden Age of Video tape which I believe has the whole submarines sequence on it, but I'm not sure how high a resolution I can get with my home equipment. Also, it will be a big file, maybe too big for some email systems, although I have an ftp site I could put it on and you could download it from there. I have access to an Avid Composer system at work, which could do it in high res, but I won't be able to use it until next week, and only if someone doesnt' have dibs on it yet. I have the laserdisc, so I can get better quality than a tape. The only problem is I can't convert the file to Quicktime. I asked if MPEG of AVI would work, but no response yet. I'm converting it to MPEG at this moment. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Krzysko" To: Sent: Saturday, February 09, 2002 4:23 PM Subject: RE: Alloy: Submarines footage > > Hi.
