I know, it's been a very long time since I've written but its also been a long time since I've read as well. My address eventually got bumped off the list but Robin got me back on (thank you Robin). Please note that my email address has changed. My life has been chaos - pure chaos. In fact, Teresa and I are still not married! But we will be... May 4th, this year. Thats less than 15 weeks and anyone who dares railroad our wedding date again is in for it!!! While I'm on the topic... ** Requesting addresses ** Anyone who would like to receive our invitation, please send us your mailing address. HINT - You might really want one of these as they aren't your standard wedding invitation! And, of course, all at Alloy are invited. It would just be absolutely thrilling if Thomas decided to show up too! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Jan 2002 15:26:51 +0200 From: Subject: Alloy: Crump crump Hi all, just last week I was in the UK visiting family and I introduced my wife and son to Shingle Street. We took a walk, or should I say a crump, (that's exactly what it sounds like!) along the beach on a very blustery day. Lovely. On the way home the heavens opened up and I took this photograph. http://www.geocities.com/jchiddick/cloudburst.JPG It was taken a few miles up the coast from said beach so the opening should have been pretty much dead above there I guess. I just thought someone might like to see it. Back to lurking... Yet I was able to rip the track and play it as an MP3 with no problems at all. What the hell is up with that? I mean, it's ones and zeroes, they're either there or their not, arn't they? I'm perplexed I tells ya! Perplexed! Oh well, at least I got to listen to the track. Heheheh "He doesn't know anymore songs". That was cute. Crackers (No, you tell me about YOUR mother from hell!!!) Lately I've been wishing I could visit the ocean & your photo captures the spirit I'm after when I think of the sea. The water looks so deep, strong and alive... lovely!! xxx ~R > http://www.geocities.com/jchiddick/cloudburst.JPG Send FREE video emails in Yahoo! Basically, read up on how music CDs are stored and how computer CD ROMS read them. I've read a wonderful article on this that I cant find at the moment, but when I do I'll forward you the link. - -Russ Chris & Beena Cracknell wrote: > I'm totally perplexed as to the reason why I can't get the Hyperactive track > to play either on my computer CD drive or on any of my stereo CD players. > Yet I was able to rip the track and play it as an MP3 with no problems at > all.
