I gather several of you did the same thing as the "special Autographed link" wasn't there at the time. I've mailed CD Baby a couple of times now, including the text box on the original order to clarify which copy I wish, but unfortunately I haven't had any reply or personal confirmation. I know that some of you on making this mistake were able to get immediately in touch with them, receiving personal replies, sometimes within minutes. I would be slightly devastated to miss out on this offer, so I was wondering if anybody who has been able to get in touch with them would be able to give me a contact or something as I'm becoming a little worried now. Please Help, Trevor... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Dec 2001 14:28:28 -0600 From: "Bill Krzysko" Subject: RE: Alloy: Thomas Dolby CD Trevor, This is the reply I got from them, I just used the same cdbaby e-mail address. They don't seem to have an 800 number, so I don't know if you want to call them. If you log on to there site, you should see a link for your account, you should be able to go there and find your order, along with the order number. I included this in my request, maybe this is what they need to find it. Since the album is still "pre-order" I wouldn't panic just yet, they seem to be understanding of the matter. - --- response e-mail --- OK it's all killed and the charges are reversed thanks john Order #011218dxmx Order date: Tuesday, December 18, 2001 dolby - -- CD Baby 5925 NE 80, Portland, OR 97218 phone: (503)595-3000 email: cdbaby@cdbaby.com http://www.cdbaby.com - ------------------------------------- - -----Original Message----- From: owner-alloy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-alloy@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Blagg & Norling Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 2:21 PM To: alloy@smoe.org Subject: Alloy: Thomas Dolby CD Dear all, When ordering the CD (probably within about 10 minutes of Robin's mail) I inadvertently ordered the one without the autograph from CD Baby. But, ha ha, the Internet is everywhere... Has there been any indication of when this CD will ship? I don't see any on the CDbaby site, and it would help to know if I'll be home again before spending extra $$$ on overnight shipping (oh yes, I've waited eight years, but I'm not waiting ONE WEEK LONGER.) I made the same mistake and sorted it (I think)... they didn't reply to the last e-mail... I think a few of us did the same thing in over excitement. Weird thing, my other hero Joe Jackson has done the same thing, a secret live album! What a Christmas!!! - -- Philip P Woodcock ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V6 #320 ***************************
