Well, for some unknown reason, an email response to this group I sent back in August showed up (twice) in yesterday's digest. Did someone else quote it??? I didn't send it in. Except I record the show to PVR, so instead of mute, it's BLIP *chirp* *chirp* etc, as I FF 30 seconds at a time in search of the regaining of the show. (Commercials are a thing of the past as well. I love live pause & instant record!) For so-called emotionless brings, she shows a constant stream of disdain for everything around her (humans, their food, their habits, their language, their thought process...etc.) And since when do Vulcans have seven-of-nine bods? Every other female Vulcan dresses in long robes and sleeves and is relatively indistinguishable from a man. Yeah, the Internet Archive/Alexa has been going for a while now. It's located out in the Presidio, and a friend of mine worked there in the early days. At the time they had a funky two-story building with a volleyball court out back. And lots of big cabinets full of tape archivers inside, of course. Alexa was eventually sold to Amazon, but the non-profit Archive continues to "preserve our digital heritage."
