Project B-Day IV never got very far. I was the only one who actually completed his recording. As a result there was no Project B-Day IV CD and so far only Thomas and a couple of members of the Project B-day group ever got to hear my cover of "Hyperactive". Well in honour of Thomas's birthday, my cover of "Hyperactive" will be the featured "MP3 Of The Week" on my webcomic so feel free to drop by and check it out. Now hopefully "The Curse Of Hyperactive" has finally been laid to rest (every year someone called a DIBB on "Hyperactive" that person was unable to contribute to the project... until the year I called it then everyone else was unable to contribute) and my webcomic won't come crashing down in flames. Ummm...is it Thomas's birthday today? The 13th? Pleeeeeease say it is....because it's mine too! And no-one cool is born on my birthday - just Maggie Thatcher. Thomas would be a very happy birthday share. Mind you, I hope he's had a better birthday than me cos I have a horrible ear infection and it hurts when I move my head - spent the morning at the doctor which meant I couldn't go to Highgate cemetery as planned. Guess George Eliot will have to wait a week for those flowers. Someone please cheer me up by telling me I'm birthday-linked to Thomas! Barbra Bain (of Space:1999) and I share the same birthday (Sept.13th). Also Sept.13th 1999 is the day that the explosion took place on the moon knocking it out of earth's orbit. Hey Andy, fantastic page! Nice work. It makes a great addition to your site. One thing - I'd always read Thomas was the youngest of eight, rather than six. Though I don't know either way for certain. I love the updates to your main page too. My humble thanks for linking my TMDR interview articles to your site! I've been eager to commit more of them to the web but I fear it may become a summer project at this rate. But there are some great photos & interviews which should really be out there for everyone to see ASAP. Speaking of photos (and birthdays) I think Dave's gotten me the correct software for getting the calendar thing going again, so I'm going to try doing that tonight. Hopefully I'll be posting again later with the 'good news'. Hope all are well this weekend :) xxxxxx Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 Oct 2001 19:39:11 -0400 From: "Robin Thurlow" Subject: Re: Alloy: Thomas and me: twins? It's awful being sick on your own birthday. I hope everyone in your family is taking good care of you today & treating you like a star. As Crackers said, Thomas' day is the 14th... and I just found out yesterday that the 14th is also Winnie the Pooh's birthday. Visit http://www.pooh-corner.com/pooh.html for an interesting history (there really was a bear named Winnie, which I never knew!) Just an interesting Oct 14th fact, and more proof yet that many truly great individuals were born this weekend. xxxxx Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Oct 2001 15:18:13 -0700 From: Kathleen Presser Subject: Alloy: RE: alloy-digest V6 #267 You know I liked the movie Howard the Duck. It was cheezy but a lot of fun. Plus, of course what made the movie for me was Dolby's music. I didn't realize though that he actually starred in that movie. Well, looks like I need to see Howard the Duck again!! I think Lea Thompson was great in this film! I also liked Dolby in Rockula. That movie really rocks!! Nothing like being a vampire with a conscience. The music was great, the plot was even cool to me. Anyway, it's great to see your favorite musician on the big screen. Any other movies anyone might know of that Thomas was in, besides doing the musical score for?? Work has been kinda of, shall we say, tight, anal, strict about any time spent not doing work?? Well, it has in a sense. I thought I'd take a second or two out of my work schedule to say my two bits (actually a lot of bits). Happy birthday Sally! I guess one way to look at it (resists urge to use a lyric. See? The therapy is working!) is that while your birthdays are different days, because of the different time zones you do both spend at least a few hours celebrating your birthday at the same time. :-) P. Nope, Andy's right, he's the youngest of six, with three brothers and two sisters (this from TMDR's dad who ought to know!). Nice job, Andy! How about including his work with Jane Kennaway on the single "Year 2000"? I wish you the happiest of birthdays, Thomas! You know, I get just as confused, and I'm not even a blond :) Since I found out that your part of Australia is uhmmm.. 15 hours ahead of NY (??? must check) I realise I've subconsciously come to think of Australia as "The Land of Tomorrow" and now that it is tomorrow... and so I can say Happy Birthday to you Thomas!
